The first time I heard this, I couldn't believe it. These kind of bands kidnap your soul. The bleakness and sheer oppression this sound conveys is beyond explanation. The atmosphere and riffs... the howls from the abyss... Right: the abyss. This noise is what comes straight from the abyss (or what screams out of a black hole)... Bought it way too late.
